Green Monsters! And awesome purses :)

Today, we made Green Monster Smoothies! :)

This is what we did (and you can add anything you want, really!)
2-3 handfuls of spinach (washed)
1 cup milk (I used unsweetened almond milk)
1/2 cup yogurt (I used 0% chobani vanilla Greek yogurt)
1-2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 sliced banana (some say frozen, mine wasn't)
1/2 tablespoon cocoa powder (I couldn't really taste it, so I may add more)
1 tablespoon flaxseed ground ( I bought the seeds...that was a disaster!)
a few ice cubes to make it cold
I read that you should put the spinach on the bottom and the heavier items on top, so they don't fly around the blender and stick to the sides. That amount made the two glasses. I may add some cinnamon next time and more cocoa powder) Pinterest has a lot of great recipes, too, which fruit, etc

That was what we did (and also the message I've sent people on facebook after they asked about them!)

This is what they looked like:

They were pretty tasty. I was impressed!

I'm going to try to make them the night before, and then eat them (drink them?) for breakfast. I don't have a lot of time in the morning, because I leave so early (and let's face it, I'm not exactly fully functioning that early!).

I got my new Target purses in the mail on Friday.  I took pictures.

I'm using the blue one now, and saving the mint one for when the weather is a bit nicer.  The blue one is HUGE. I love giant purses.

We also made breakfast for dinner (sorry, no pictures) and set off the smoke alarms! Because we rule.

Happy Sunday!
